National Board announces winners
First up every award season is the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures, and this year they've handed Best Film to the Coen brothers' adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's book 'No Country for Old Men.' Several comedies were nominated for Best Film this year, and although the trophy eluded them, in the bridesmaid position were 'Bucket List,' 'Juno,' 'Lars and the Real Girl,' and 'Sweeney Todd.' Tim Burton took Best Director prize for his adaptation of the dark comedy-musical "Sweeney Todd." 'Ratatouille' took Best Animated. >> more at cnn.com
